Our Values

In everyday life, interactions can often feel much rougher and less considerate. We want to counteract that feeling, so we have put the core values of our event series into writing. This helps ensure that all guests understand what we stand for and can feel safe, comfortable, and welcome at our events.
  • We treat all people equally, regardless of age, origin, gender, religion, or any other arbitrary characteristic.
  • We do not tolerate hatred or discrimination.
  • We protect our safer space against boundary violations and abusive behavior.
  • Everyone who embraces and contributes positively to our community is welcome.
  • We strive not to discriminate against anyone.
  • We book artists and contributors inclusively.
  • We treat others the way we would like to be treated ourselves.
  • Have sex with whomever you want—as long as the other person consents.

Of course, nobody is perfect. We, too, can make mistakes and occasionally, usually without realizing it, act in ways that fall short of our own values. However, we are always open to feedback and willing to reflect on and, where necessary, adjust our behavior. Sometimes it takes the perspective of those affected to help us understand how our actions may have caused discomfort or made someone feel unwelcome.
